| Portable Maintenance Access Terminal 2000® (PMAT 2000®)
The Complete Electronic Data Loading Aircraft Solution
The Portable Maintenance Access Terminal 2000® (PMAT 2000®) is a comprehensive device that
combines a data loader with a high-resolution digital maintenance terminal designed for
high-capacity data loading across an airline’s operation. Featuring an intuitive user interface, the
PMAT 2000 facilitates the management and configuration of Loadable Software Parts (LSPs) for easy
electronic data loading from servers to LRUs. This complete hardware and software solution
automates the data loading process and quickly uploads software libraries to the aircraft and across
the entire fleet.
Easy Data Distribution and Loading
The PMAT 2000 accepts software parts from various types of media and is compatible with multiple
data distribution methods. LSPs can be distributed to the PMAT 2000 by floppy disk, USB, or through
Teledyne’s LoadStar® Server Enterprise (LSE). Once software parts are configured on the terminal,
libraries can be electronically loaded in a single action to loadable aircraft equipment via ARINC
615/615A loading, over Ethernet, floppy disk, USB or directly from the PMAT 2000’s hard drive. This
highly integrated data loader can easily streamline any airline’s data loading process, therefore
reducing time delays and manual efforts associated with traditional data loading methods.
Extensive Software Configuration with LoadStar®
Data distribution and loading across an entire fleet is easy with the PMAT 2000’s LoadStar® software
interface. Delivered with the PMAT 2000, Teledyne’s LoadStar software facilitates configuration
control of Loadable Software Parts (LSPs) and enables loads to be specifically configured for each
aircraft type and tail number in the airline's fleet. Configured LSPs are stored on the PMAT 2000’s
internal hard drive, which supports high-speed and high-volume data loading, eliminating
dependence on floppy disks and other physical media.
