System Validation

System validation tests are performed at the total system level using the actual airborne computer LRU equipment and interfaces as provided by their respective system test stations. Every load configuration of an LRU is tested on each installation.

Validation tests include the following avionic system load configurations:

• Flight Management Systems (FMS)
• Integrated Display System (IDS)
• Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS)
• Advanced Cabin Entertainment and Service System (ACESS)
• Central Management System (CMS)
• Automatic Flight System (AFS)
• Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS)
• Aircraft System Controller (ASC)
• Flight Management Computer System (FMCS)
• Electronic Display System (EDS)
• Aircraft Data Acquisition System (ADA)
