Teledyne Controls Announces Promotions

LOS ANGELES - May 21, 2002 - Teledyne Controls, a Teledyne Technologies Incorporated company (NYSE: TDY) has announced the promotion of George Simmons and Armen Nahapetian as Vice President, Marketing, Sales & Service and Vice President of Engineering, respectively.

In making the announcement, Dr. Masood Hassan, Vice President and General Manager of Teledyne Controls stated, "George Simmons has successfully led Teledyne Controls Marketing, Sales and Service organization against strong competitors.
