Teledyne Controls Chooses SimAuthor's FlightViz^TM for FLIDRAS III

BOULDER, CO - August 15, 2000 - Teledyne Controls, a premier supplier of Total Aircraft Information Management Solutions, has forged a strategic marketing agreement with Boulder, Colorado-based SimAuthor, Inc., the leading manufacturer of flight data visualization software. Teledyne Controls, a business unit of Teledyne Electronic Technologies, a Teledyne Technologies company (NYSE: TDY), will integrate SimAuthor's FlightViz software into their new-generation FLIDRAS III software, a state-of-the-art, flight data analysis tool. FlightViz will enhance the FLIDRAS III capability by adding a three-dimensional data visualization component. The ability to visualize data facilitates routine and event analysis of flights, and, perhaps more importantly, facilitates and improves the communication of this vital information to pilots, managers, engineers, suppliers, regulatory agencies and other professionals dedicated to improving aviation operations, training and safety.
