LOS ANGELES, CA - April 16, 2007 - Teledyne Controls, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY), announced today that the German national airline's freight subsidiary, Lufthansa Cargo, has completed installation of Teledyne Controls' Vision ground-based application. This sophisticated flight data animation system is designed to enable the rapid visualization of complex flight scenarios through high fidelity animations and will provide Lufthansa Cargo with an essential tool for incident investigation.
Built upon the Vision system that was installed in 2001 at Lufthansa mainline in Frankfurt, Germany, this new Vision installation has been configured to allow the data replay and enhanced visualization of Lufthansa Cargo's fleet of MD-11 aircraft. Following Lufthansa Airlines and Lufthansa Cityline, Lufthansa Cargo is the third company in the group to adopt the Teledyne Vision solution.
