LOS ANGELES, CA - July 10, 2006 - Teledyne Controls, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: TDY), announced today that Blue Wings has selected Teledyne Controls' Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) services to support its Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) program. The German carrier has opted for Teledyne's new Tier 2 Gold Service consisting of the analysis of the airline's flight data by Teledyne and the delivery of a comprehensive package of reports providing information on operational events and trends.

With the addition of Blue Wings, Teledyne's FDM replay service now includes in excess of 220 aircraft.

Periodic reports, highlighting operations trends, are delivered back to the customers, who also have the ability to access their own data remotely.
